• Enhanced event branding and visual appeal by designing a cohesive promotional package—including a poster, brochure, event ticket, and custom logo—while applying Figma, UI, and UX principles for hands-on experience.

• Assisted in creating a Discord channel to enhance student communication and engagement.


• Collaborated with another club officer to create promotional media, including a poster designed in Figma, to advertise the club at events such as Spring Fest.

Mar. 2024 - Jun. 2024

• Led the design of a Taskout app layout at the 2024 Rice Design-a-thon, collaborating remotely with three teammates and leveraging UX design strategies to deliver a user-centered and visually cohesive prototype under tight deadlines.

• Selected as an OFA Fellow through a competitive application, interview, and resume review process, demonstrating leadership potential and a commitment to community service while collaborating with Enterprise for Youth and a two-person planning team.


• Awarded a Mayoral Commendation for exceptional leadership and dedication during the Summer 2024 Fellowship at JCYC by co-leading a two-person team to guide interns in career-building activities, creating weekly development plans, and overseeing landscaping projects at Golden Gate Park.

• Supported mental health education activities, such as Wags for Wellness, Tea Time Out, and the Self-Care Station, to promote stress relief and wellness among participants.


• Created sleep and self-care kits to encourage stress relief and wellness, providing essential tools for participants to manage their mental health.


• Volunteered for health and wellness initiatives, including conducting an HPW Green Space assessment and supporting an Anti-Worry Doll Making Workshop to promote mental health and community engagement.

• Improved the Budget-Tracker Project’s UI and UX by contributing to PR #2 (replacing Tkinter with CustomTkinter for enhanced visual design).


• Contributed to PR #8 (enhancing database functionality for persistent data storage), utilizing Python and GitHub.

• Enhanced data engineering workflows for 12.5k+ GitHub-starred Dagster open-source project by contributing robust data visualization and orchestration features.


• Improved UI data visualization and workflow organization by developing a React filter to customize the order of asset kinds, collaborating with a two-person team, and adhering to ESLint standards across Python and TypeScript ecosystems.

• Participated in the Code Tenderloin program, focusing on web development and coding skills, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.


• Completed a series of projects showcasing coding skills, including an animal site, a rainbow navigation bar, a Mondrian piece, a recipe page, a sparkly air project, a game project, and a Caesar cipher project.

• Strengthened developer experience on the Keyshade open-source project by clarifying command-line error messaging, improving usability for early adopters.
